We had two fantastic dinners at Sauté while visiting Lewiston/Clarkston for a rafting trip. I’d like to commend this lovely family-run place for putting out such great food, and for being so welcoming to guests from out of town. We tried several different menu items, and everything was prepared perfectly. We also really appreciated the friendliness of the staff, especially given that we were dining with our children. If we ever pass through the area again, a reservation here will be one of our first priorities!

We had my son's birthday dinner here last week. When the chef heard that a 16-year-old had requested coming to his restaurant for his bday dinner, he took my son and his brother on a tour of the entire restaurant, including the kitchen! That made the night really special! The food was delicious too!

Saute' is amazing! Plain and simple. Although it easily stands out among the Lewis-Clark Valley because of lack of options in the area...It would easily stand out among comparable restaurants elsewhere. Staff are always warm and welcoming; The cocktails are tasty (Huckleberry margarita is my favorite); And the environment is perfect. I prefer downstairs where it is darker and a little more intimate. As far as the food! I have had many dishes from pasta to lamb chop to fish...All of it is fresh, perfectly seasoned for my liking and well portioned. But by far my favorite is only seasonally available...the halibut. PERFECTION. Sauté is a must!
