The staff is so connective and the groups are awesome. The therapist and doctors really know what they're doing. They really care. Got so much healing done there. Very LGBT friendly and respectful.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Absolutely awful. For someone who was going through Psychosis due to severe dehydration, high stress, and C-PTSD. I was abused here. I will never be heard though, because I was “crazy” while in this psychiatric facility. Edited to add: A doctor by the name of Lampu asked me if I was sure I was a woman because of my facial hair due to hirsutism; which is a common disease! They also prescribed me Remeron, Risperdal, and other anti-psychotics.

This place has it's ups and downs. It's much better than the ER or doctor's behavioral but it has it's flaws. They give you some independency which is nice, you have your own 'bedroom' with a bathroom that you can be alone in as long as you leave the door cracked. They have a common area with a TV, drawing supplies, and a yard for outside time. On the downsides, they seem to have no security. Two individuals were having extreme meltdowns throughout the day and causing danger to staff and other patients and nothing was done about it. It was distressing to all the behaved patients who came here to be safe. They feed you meals basically on the hour which is way too much, and if you don't consistently eat/participate, they will 'get concerned' and use such things as a reason to hold you longer. Sometimes it felt like I was never going to get out of this place, it was very difficult getting them to lift my hold. They wouldn't let me leave when my 3 day hold was up because it was at nighttime, even though I had someone who would pick me up, so they served me with a 14 day hold! I do think this place tries to keep you for as long as possible and really drain your insurance coverage to it's last drop, which is sadly common for psych wards. My advice is really utilize the help available and hopefully never need to come back.

I got sent here, and it was a pretty pleasant experience. Everyone there was wonderful, the food was alright, the beds were hard but it's whatever, and it can get really cold in there I wish I had brought a sweater.

U have to be conserved to be here or private pay. You can call that place and ask for Nate he is the one who goes and interview people for admission.

Second half of what I have to say: Nasty filthy behavior your staff showed him will be reported. I’m so angry in my heart and God will take care of your facility. You bet he will. God help the ones who did this to my son.
