Very rude staff. Cashier heard me incorrectly at the register while ordering and gave me the wrong food. Argued with me about what I ordered and had to pay extra for my food to be corrected after already spending $90 on the meal. Spoke rudely to our children as well. Over priced and average food at best. Would not recommend.

It was late ...what was nope near midnight especially for someone who wanted hearty homestyle Mexican food. I was weighing the danger or traveling into chicago versus supposedly higher end suburban choice. Here pops up taco salsa whatever...still open...no one in there...the employees (5 or 6) have the enthusiasm of a funeral director. And yeah let's tell the truth you can't love your job if you don't put your life into it. Covid economy sucks but better to close the store than unforgettably ruin your reputation and any chance you would have for repeat customers. I order three lengua tacos with everything I get almost not meat and fillings...this was the GOOD thing. My dad owned legendary Chicago restaurants...I own all cuisines I ate them I their native countries and I can cook them authentically... OLD STALE DRY RANCID OFF TASTING RICE...MEAT WITH NO FLAVOR...FIGURED I COULD HIDE IT WITH ONE OF THEIR TWENTY(!) FRESH SALSAS...MOST JUST GENERICALLY HOT...MOST OF THEM HAD HINTS OF WINE ALCOHOL TOMATO FERMENTATION. I ALWAYS FINISH MY MEAL AND LEAVE AN EMPTY PLATE. HERE I LEFT IT ALONE...RUN DO NOT WALK FOR YOUR LIFE....ZERO STARS THEY DONT CARE THEY ARE BURNED OUT THEY DONT MAKE ENOUGH TO BUY FRESH PRODUCT...NO ENOUGH CUSTOMER TURNOVER I DO NOT CARE...HONESTLY AND SINCERELY ONE OF THE GENUINELY WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE...NO TASTE NO VALUE NO HOSPITALITY NO FRESHNESS NO QUALITY...hard to believe it was in an upscale suburb I will try to forget it but I am honestly traumatized
