I recently was admitted to Elderwood known as “the youngest patient there!” 😊 I was greeted by friendly staff and immediately felt comfortable. The rooms were clean but small considering the equipment required for rehab. Considering the staff shortage I received good care. Unfortunately short staff is a problem that’s out of the facility’s hands

My Mom received excellent care here. The nurses were encouraging and caring. I was impressed with everyone I met, I would recommend to anyone. This was the rehab, not long term.

Only reviewing rehab - don’t know about long term. Rooms were reasonably clean but horribly congested. Patients have to squeeze between walkers or wheelchairs, rankest, waste baskets to reach the bathroom - difficult even for able bodied. Therapy was semi successful but patients get released before they are safely self sufficient. My family member was so weak upon release - she fell on 3rd day out ending up back in hospital with a broken bone. They deemed her able to do things by herself that simply were not true , thus ending insurance coverage.

The short term rehab is excellent. The staff is very attentive, thorough, and pleasant. My mother loves the food. It's always very clean, and the staff is timely in response to the call button.
