I talked with Brandy on the phone a couple of times who encouraged me to apply after explaining my situation. I went to take a tour of the apartments and everything seemed fine. During this whole process, there was no indication that anything was wrong or that anything in my application wasn't acceptable. She looked at it multiple times and told me just to upload certain documents so she could run it. The next day, she asked me if I had another applicant with me since my income wasn't enough to make the 4:1 ratio they require. While I make more than minimum wage, I don't make quite enough to meet a 4:1 ratio of income to rent. She also hadn't indicated at any point before that my income was any kind of issue despite looking over my application. I hadn't realized it was a 4:1 (most places are 3:1) and asked about a one-bedroom. I didn't qualify for that either, I was told, and that was it. I've lived in my current complex for three years that is more expensive and never missed a payment, have an amazing credit score, and no criminal background. None of that is considered, apparently, and my application wasn't even given a chance once they saw my income wasn't enough by their standards despite meeting a 3:1 ratio. I'm not going to claim discrimination but it does feel very disheartening to have been built up only to be immediately and swiftly denied on one single factor of my application.

Recently aquired a job with the Buffalo Bills as a social media manager and was looking for a place as close as possible. Filled out an application with my fiance and was promptly responded to same day asking which apartment I'd like and asked for the 1st months rent. Next day was called back saying that the apartment was no longer available and that my deposit was not able to be refunded. They told me they are then no longer available until another 3 months. Had a friend call back and there were 5 available apartments. Descrimination??? What a cash grab. Ended up staying away from tri-city rentals and couldn't be happier.

Beware & stay away at all cost. Brandy just picked up the line and literally hung up on me in the middle of our conversation about the residential property. This is definitely not an act of kindness. I'm absolutely grateful to not be a resident here (imagine that). RATING should = Zero. ***They most definitely need a new receptionist who has better customer service skills or risk losing business to this rude lady.
