I am a huge fan! I was a first time dog mama six and half years ago. NCBCRA allowed me to ask lots of questions, take my time orienting to the different considerations of a pup …Thank you for the positive review. We are so happy to hear it was a great match!

This organization is very professional and responsive to prospective adoptors. Even though we were unsuccessful in adopting the dog of our choice, this organization makes sure there is a good match between dog and humans.

Lew and Marnie Bietz are very sweet and thoughtful caring foster parents. Any dog will be blessed to have them, even if it is for a little while.

I have 2 males, "fully intact", That a friend of ours purchased, and then left them at our house. They are brothers. And born may of 2019. We kept waiting for our friend to come and get them, and we don't hear from him anymore at all. We can't keep both, please help. Both are well socialized with other dogs and people , they don't bark unless given a reason, and both very loving.. kids seem to be their favorite.

Hi Cindy, We are a network of volunteer foster families. Our available dogs are listed on our website. https://norcalbcrescue.org/available-dogs/our-dogs/ Check back often as there are new dogs posted as soon as the foster family feels they are ready to be adopted.

Hello! My name is Zodiac and I was wondering if you guys have a male border Collie? A puppy maybe 9-10 weeks old, loves outdoors. And, second question, how much do you guys charge for them? I'm looking to pay under $800 for it. Thank you and!

Hi Zodiac, We are a network of volunteer foster families. Our available dogs are listed on our website.  We typically rescue Border Collies from shelters in our service area, so we never know when we might get puppies in. Puppies are always in high demand, so you may want to put in an adoption application in advance. We keep applications on file for a year. Once your application is approved, if you see a pup of interest on our website, using the link within each dog’s biography page is the most efficient way to get your approved application sent to the appropriate foster family.  The foster family can answer any specific questions you might have about their dog/pup. You can find our online application at the following address: https://norcalbcrescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/    Thank you for considering a rescue dog!

Hi I'm helping my cousin. She & her father would like to rescue a border collie. They already have a cat so it would need to get along with cats, maybe a puppy? Do you have any border collie's available for adoption?

Danielle Engel | Jan 18, 2021

Our first step is filling out an application. Deciding on a posted dog or not when you submit is optional. Our available dogs can be found in two places. You can click here to go to our Facebook available selection https://www.facebook.com/pg/norcalbcrescue/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1419361431648093 or you can visit our website https://norcalbcrescue.org/ and under "Available Dogs" we have Our dogs, dogs available from owners, rescues and shelters as well as dogs available from our sister group. Within each link on Facebook is the link to our adoption info and application process. You must have an approved application on file and will be provided the email address to inquire on a specific dog once approved. Thank You.

We very recently lost our springer spaniel collie mix and enjoy a mixed breed dog. Puppy okay: preferably female. Live on a ranch!
