Attorney David Pell represented me in 2018. I felt it was going to be a struggle back and forth to keep my apartment and not an open and close case. Due to his expertise, the case was resolved in my favor. I had intentions of of filling out a review form and sending a card and small gift to show my deep appreciation. I have a problem procrastinating with intent to getting around to it. As always I still have holiday cards to mail. I said to myself I'll get a card off to Attorney Pell. I wanted to make sure his address had not changed. I found out he passed away in 2020. I started sobbing. I was sobbing thinking he died without him knowing how much I appreciated his efforts to help me keep my apartment. Attorney David Pell devoted his lifelong career helping people retain basic needs. I can tell you now there is nothing more important in life which some take for granted than the air we breath and a place to lay you head.

No, the notary person has the power appointed to them to legalized any documents, provided that you have sworn in by path in front of the notary public person.
You should call them first. They will then have someone get back to immediately and do a phone interview and set up an appointment. They are very professional and they respond immediately to phone calls.
