We seldom write reviews (good or bad), but a recent interaction with Klaussner was just over the top great! We had a reclining sofa where one of the motors went out. We called the store where we bought it and got nowhere. So, we decided to call Klaussner expecting no help. We were wrong. Sandra Thompson returned our call. Got our info and said they would ship out the part as soon as possible and she'd follow up with tracking info once it shipped which she did!!!! Amazing in this day and age that 1) a company stood by their product warranty. And 2) Their customer service was amazing! Our next furniture purchase we will be specifically looking for the Klaussner brand!

Actually, I need to explain: I don't hate the furniture... it's high quality, real leather and nice looking. But... I bought a "Comfort Design" brand recliner with an electric reclining feature. The buttons to recline or return to upright position are on the inside of the right arm and can be pushed by accident by your leg or hip. When my 2 granddaughters were sitting in the chair, the smaller one crawled out and was navigating her way to the ground via the extended foot rest. Suddenly, and without knowing it, the older girl's leg contacted the button and the chair started to fold back to upright. The smaller girl's arm got caught and she screamed but the other girl didn't realize what was happening. Fortunately, my wife heard and was able to resolve the situation. When I mentioned to Comfort design my concern that the buttons should have a safety cover or something this was their reply: "We have no reason to think this product is dangerous or defective. All motion furniture, including recliners, reclining sofas and loveseats, sleep sofas, lift-top tables, etc., has many moving parts. Caution must be used in operation (reclining, opening, closing, etc.). Children should be supervised. Comfort Design's Limited Warranty expresses a note on Caution within it. A Caution label is also adhered to the motion mechanism. If you do not have a copy of our Limited Warranty please let us know and we will send a copy to you." Sincere regards, Cindy Pierce Consumer Relations Supervisor Now I ask you, what kind of response is that? These folks will hear from me if I EVER hear of anyone being injured in one of these chairs due to their unwillingness to add a simple, safety device to keep the buttons from accidentally being pushed. My name is Matt Galey and I live near Baton Rouge, LA.

Paid for a couch in end of May at a store in IL. They said it would be done August. The factor got covid. Then it would be done end of September. Now we are being told we will have to wait at least 1 full year. I would stay away from this company until they get there act together.
