No elevator and our room was on the second floor I recently had surgery so going upstairs was very difficult for me but there wasn't another place in town available it's like in the middle of a cornfield almost with nothing around you.

Staff was very friendly, rooms are super clean, beds comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The town of Berne is adorable too.

Positive: Clean and comfortable, with easy access and a fairly quiet setting. I heat in the room was sufficient for cold and rainy days. and the hot water in the bathroom was sufficient for a good shower.

This place is in a small town with not many other nearby options so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleased with what I found. Probably one of the cleanest places I've stayed. I was greeted at the front desk by the sweetest little boy (and his mom ☺️) ever! Obviously a family run establishment, the lobby closes at 10 pm so make sure you arrive by then or make prior arrangements. Bathroom was modern and the room itself was large. Bed was comfortable. I did not notice any noise or other concerns from outside. Mine was a quick stay for work nearby so I did not need any other services so cannot speak to that. Overall I was very happy and would highly recommend.
