The trail is to your left of the gate before you enter the neighborhood. Go up the slope and to your left there is a stone pathway. It's short, but there are some pretty steep stairs. Once you get up there, the ruins are several walls and rooms. On the far side there's a great view and picnic tables. Nothing super special but a nice quick hike if you need something short.

Great short and intense hike right in town! Ruins at the top are cool to explore, the views are nice, and following the stone path leads to 3 stone picnic tables.

Very short walk to the top! Great view of pine, located in a local housing subdivision

Questions & Answers

Where exactly is the access point? Others describe a path just before the gate. But that is now a lot that is being graded for a house to be built. So you have to cross that property line to access the ruins?

I'm not sure now there's a house before the gate. When you approach the gate, head on an unmarked path to your left it will bring you to some steep stairs. If you go in the back way, walk through the neighborhood and just before you get to the last driveway that's marked as private to the left, there should be an unmarked path just in front of you. It's kind of easier to see with the Google Earth view in the maps app.
