It was just ok for me. I got fried fish, collards, mac m cheese, cornbread, peach lemonade and a slice strawberry cake. I didn't like the sweet collards because well they were sweetened- not for me. Strawberry cake just wasn't hittin. The mac cheese was decent. Corn bread I appreciated it because it wasn't so sweet enjoyed it. The peach lemonade is concentrated sugar, had to mix with water. Fish was hot and fried well. All of my food was hot. I give this place 4 stars.. Why? Very clean, lovely atmosphere, nice location and Friendly staff. They even have a little book shop inside. I will revisit this location again. Will try some other menu selections as the food was cooked and presented well.

My first time here and let’s start by the good stuff. I waited 20 minutes for my food after I put in my order. Let’s just say it was worth the wait, because the food was delicious. Customer service and communication were also great. But one thing they could work on is being more organized. It was a bit confusing because people didn’t know where to go if they wanted to order in or pickup. I could only imagine how hectic things could get if they got super busy. Other than that , I have nothing bad to say and I will definitely come back because the food and service were great.

The food was absolutely fantastic. I love it being black owned and being able to support a small business. They have perfume,body butter soap, paintings coloring books and more for sale which I did appreciate. The only reason I gave it a 4 was bc the men didn't have beard guards on that were making plates but it's so good imma have to just take a chance lol
