I think the wait to hell is shorter than this place…no sense of urgency, understaffed, and no one seems to care. Great job NC you suck again…

Had to share a positive review because I know they get many bad ones, this place was WAY more efficient and helpful than I anticipated. I got there upon opening and there was still already a long line, but they got everyone checked in and moved through very quickly. Informative and straightforward on what I needed and how I could send It over. I didn't have one of the documents needed and the check in person told me how I could get it faxed over so that i wouldn't have to leave and come back. Didn't catch her name but shoutout to the lady in station 3 who helped me.

This is the slowest working place I’ve ever been to.

Absolutely horrible experience. The employees were rude and the line barely moved. I arrived prior to opening and was still 10th in line. I looked to see about setting an appointment, but the soonest available was 2 months away

You need something with a NC utility reflecting a NC address must have proof of insurance and visit nc.dot.gov might help explain of you have had any name changes
They shouldn't be u can walk inside and take care of everything
It should be on the inside of the door or under the hood.
Yes They allow walk ins
Yes, so far they require appointment for anything
Yes
No. You have to make an appt online to go to the dmv. And yes they will issue you a new one at a cost.
It is hard to get through on the telephone so the best chance may be to just go up there and talk to them in person.
They recommend making appointments online. The earliest one I received was in May for the Aberdeen location. However, go early on Tuesday or Thursday, if they are not busy, they might try to help you.
Yes just gotta be sure you havent been in contact with anyone with covid or been sick
You need an appointment for new/replaced driver's license..Will be scheduled pretty far out in calendar for FYI...
Go to North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles online and it will tell you what to do according to what you need.
Yes,I think so.. Have had ours for a long , long time. Have to call to schedule.
NC DMV.GOV
Not as I am aware of.
Yes you can get that change done at this office. I just did mines a few weeks ago. Now just be aware that the appointments are booked out pretty far. My wife and son have there appointments in January (she scheduled this in November before Thanksgiving). Hope this helps!?
I renewed mine online. It took about a week for the new one to come in the mail.
Only for appointments as last week
The Aberdeen DMV is open during the week by appointment only. You sign-up for appointments online.
can i walk in and get service
You will need two articles for proof of residency, lost included: lease, NC ID, military orders, vehicle registration or insurance policy showing NC address, preimprinted financial statement, utility/cable bills (you did mention utilities in roommate's name), school records, and any NC government documents with your NC address, including voter's ID (if already updated).. You can always check any info about them at ncdmv.gov. when I moved here, I called my auto insurance and financial institution to change the address just prior to the move and gave them the effective date, so I had proof that way.
There's NO penalty as far as I know of! Check your local DMV to find out for sure...If you can get thru to a real person...IF YOU CAN!!!
Fayetteville ONLY! Make appt!
Have to go to Fayetteville office!
We just got our addy changed and it took around 2 weeks to get the new one by ordering them and doing everything online.
Are you going to become a resident of the state of North Carolina?
$40 if you're under 65. $25 if you're 65 or over.
Usually u can use a school letter or any piece of mail in her name.
No you don't. You can walk in. But no driving tests are conducted after 1600hrs. There are no "designated" days for driving tests. Driving tests are conducted Monday thru Friday up until 4PM.
