Wonderful tour here. Great experience and well worth the 2 hour drive from Charlotte. My 3 year and 4 year old girls loved seeing and playing with the animals. Will be planning a trip back. My whole family enjoyed themselves, maybe me most of all!

I live close to the Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary and have been a donor and supporter for a while now. The owners are so very dedicated to caring for lost, broken, neglected, and unwanted farm animals. They deserve the highest praise and all of us should in some way support them whether it be through volunteering or cash. All animals are sentient, and humans should not exploit or neglect them. Some of the stories are so heartbreaking, I wouldn't have the strength to do what they do and they so obviously love rescuing the poor abandoned animals.

I have been a supporter of the Blind Spot Animals Sanctuary for several years now. I have seen countless stories of discarded, unwanted, and abused animals who have come to the sanctuary in dire need of medical care, food, and, perhaps most of all, love. To see how these beings are transformed into healthy, well-nourished animals who are no longer afraid of human beings has been a wonderful thing. Keep up the good work!

This sanctuary is truly a save haven for animals and people. The moment I stepped here first to volunteer I was immediately filled with joy. I was greeted by one of the goats who demanded I give him some welcoming pets. The other volunteers Are so helpful getting me started and so patient with me. I truly love this place. Hearing the animals backgrounds are truly heartbreaking hearing how A lot of them were treated. One specific one that stuck with me was a pig used as dog fighting bait and had acid thrown on her, looking at her you’d never be able to tell because she was so sweet and healthy now. That story sticks with me because of how traumatic her past is and how far she’s come with the loving help provided here. People are saying they’ve had bad experiences, but honestly the owners, volunteers etc are so kind and understanding and welcoming. They are always needing volunteers so if you are on the fence about doing it, I’m telling you DO IT. It’s hard work but it’s rewarding work. I am allowed to stop and play with the animals, take photos and all kinds of stuff. I absolutely was an animal lover before but this sanctuary will show you a whole different side of that love and compassion for animals.

Ashley, BSAS is home to over 60 pigs of all breeds, sizes and ages. We have many mini pigs, many available for adoption. Important to note, mini pig is not a breed but rather a term. To be more specific, we have many potbellied pigs available for adoption.
