Hours of use are a bit restrictive. Sand spurs in the grass! Great spot otherwise!

Interesting to see. There were demonstrations on making corn meal using a mill grinder and a blacksmith. Also a school house with a character actor.

I loved the 4th of July celebration. I would go back again. Highly recommend.

We came for the 4th of July event, and we were so impressed! It was so much fun to see the docents in costume and character, and we enjoyed learning from them. They were so kind to provide free hot dogs, watermelon slices, ice pops, and water - all of which we were so grateful for! It was a hot day! My family will definitely be back for any upcoming events, and even just to walk through the grounds when the buildings aren’t open. It’s a beautiful park, and a great place for my kiddos to run around.
