Midvale City Park

Grip6 designed the disc golf course here, and it’s a fairly nice one for the size of the park. Plenty of trees and mandos to make it interesting and fun!

The only thing I've done at this park is play disc golf. It's more of a beginner course because of the distance to most baskets, but the mandatories make it a good challenge for intermediate players. There's one main pavilion, and one or two small ones with one picnic table under it. The playground looks like the usual one. I'll update this as I go there again.

I take my kids here sometimes. There are two playgrounds. There is one closer to Center Street. And the other one is further back behind the Boys and Girls Club. The park in the back has been fixed up a bit. They have added in disc golf in the park. It's been nice seeing people at this park playing disc golf. Before the disc golf was built, I felt like it was a pretty empty park and a bit sketchy at times. The splash pad is open right now as of June 2022, and it has been literally littered with trash. I have taken my kids a few times already this summer season and have seen garbage on every occasion littered in and around the splash pad. People need to pick up their garbage. It's inconsiderate and disgusting. If you want to create a nice community spot for your children to play at, you have to pick up after yourself.

The park is nice enough. Usually clean and well kept. The people how ever, rude and entitled. A little girl, maybe 5, her parents standing right there, punched my 18 month old in the face because he stopped to get his balance on the swinging bridge! The parents stood there and did nothing about, not even asking if he was OK as blood is dripping down his face!
