This is a gem near Charleston! It’s a 45 minute drive from downtown but we’ll worth it. The grounds are incredibly picturesque and it’s calm and peaceful. They offer free boat rides and you can paddle around the swamp and it is unreal. They also filmed a scene in the notebook here and it’s so beautiful.

We will open April 13th, 2019. Grand opening is scheduled for 11am.
It is and from what I remember seeing the hours are 8am to 5pm but no entry after either 4 or 4:30. Pretty sure it was 7 days a week too. :)
Our indoor exhibits and part of our trails are accessible. The boat dock itself is, but the boats are not.
$10, $6.50 Senior & Military
Only permitted November through February.
$10 for general admission. $5 for children and $6.50 for first responders, active duty military and our Veterans. Guided boat tours are $5 a person and unguided tours are free.
Unfortunately guests cannot bring their own boats or canoes to use in the swamp but the flat-bottom boats they have a safe and you are provided a lifejacket at the dock. Not to be confused with the boat dock across the street though.
yes some of the trails are stroller friendly, some of the outer ones would not be. Land is flat but they can get narrow.
No. You can take a boat on your own or you can pay $5 for a guided tour.
They will be open, and it takes about 45 minutes to take the boat tour, I'd say 15ish for each other thing, but a walk around the trails could take an hour
Go to web sight or call but I think they are
Everything is open but no guided boat tours . You can row around on your own. The cost is $10 each for non residents. The web site has not been updated. It is truly amazing . Ps walk the long trail around the lake it's another world.
That was last weekend
No but there's a boat landing right before you go into the park
They are open 7 days a week 9-5p. Closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years. Admission is $10. Guided Boat Tour Is $5 and you can take a boat out on your own if you prefer free! :)
Not sure. But I did just recently get married in Cypress Gardens it is beautiful place lots to do
No bikes 😔
Yes it's TRUE just tell them your zip code and how many people are in the car you and your family will really enjoy it
You must be 17 years of age or older or be accompanied by an adult. Life jackets are provided in sizes for infants to adults.
Sorry no, Maybe next year
No, we are still closed, but we have boats to rent.
