Cute lil place off the beaten path. We got there as they were closing but hostess encouraged us to stay. We just ordered an appetizer an onion blooming type dish. It was just ok. Well presented though. Dipping sauce was horrible. However the menu looked quite good and we will try it again. Service was slow but againay they were closing for the day so no hard feelings.

She Crab Soup was excellent. However, the side salad didn't look or taste fresh, and it was very soggy. Also, the rice and beans didn't taste that great either. The coconut shrimp could have been warmer, but it was average at best. Maybe I ordered the wrong entrée. So, I might still come back to try something recommended.

I liked this place. I had to use my GPS to find it, but It was worth it. The parking lot and exterior belie the great interior. The inside is rich wood and nicely decorated. The back windows over look lush woods and a fantastic outdoor seating area. It the staff are friendly and attentive. They know the menu and are helpful with descriptions and recommendations. Now to the good part. The food was very good. My wife had crab cakes and I had the shrimp and grits. Both were excellent. After tasting each other's food, we sort of looked longingly at each other's plates. Prices are reasonable. Not the cheapest place, but well worth everything there is included in the experience. All in all, well worth the trip from Aiken. We will be back. I highly recommend this place.
