Just leaving Breezewood Cabins - Cherry Ridge. This was the greatest birthday present! My first log cabin! The cabin was very secluded in 360 degree woods and just us. Once inside we were happy to see a welcoming decor and it was immaculately clean. Our tour found a journal of past guest experiences. I sat and read many of them. Several guest were there for the same reason we were, to escape from the stressors of life and relax. We found ourselves laughing at us, city people, trying to remember how to build a campfire without starter logs. We could have been our own comedy sketch. 😂 But, we did get enough of a fire to make s’mores and enjoy our own company. Between sitting on the porch rocking, drinking wine to (me) singing with nature before sitting and listening; playing cards at the kitchen table like old men talking mess; talking in front of the fire; and relaxing in the jacuzzi this was a perfect birthday gift. The bed is very low to the floor, but comfortable. During a night rain storm we slept like babies. Our last 15 minutes before checkout was spent sitting on the porch, rocking in the chairs, listening to the rain. We are looking forward to coming back and renting both cabins with friends/family. This was a bucket list item. Stay in a log cabin in the woods! ✅

Pictures don’t give justice! Amazing trip. They have everything you can think of from bbq utensils to Yahtzee (only thing they didn’t have was conditioner). The cabin is so homie and the porch has the best rocking chairs for the beautiful sound of nature. I plan to keep coming back.
