This is about the Grovetown Gateway location. When they accepted returns I took back a couple shirts. The cashier was not giving me back the full amount on the receipt I had not looked at. The receipt included an item that the cashier said she would remove after ringing it up and my decision to not take it. The line was typically long during my return but I was not going to let them basically steal my money. After a bit of time I recalled what had happened, and the cashier from the original purchase was there and confirmed the issue. Instead of any apology, the manager said, “give it to her”. They were not “Giving” me ANYTHING! They were refunding a theft.

I love Goodwill. I've found some great stuff there and the staff is always so friendly and helpful if you need it.

Smaller than most goodwills. Not the clearance bin type of goodwill as shown by some reviewers.

Prices are very high. Staff is rude as heck. I have seen things from the dollar tree priced higher than dollar tree prices. All prices have gone way up. I see now why the CEO and other higher ups are making such high salaries. Ripping us that have to shop at places like goodwill off big time.. salvation army and catholic social service are the only ones I go to now..
