Very walkable and enjoyable park. It is a convenient stop with plenty of parking. I enjoyed the sitting benches that were available throughout the trail and the viewing/fishing piers around the lake! There are plenty of areas to sit in the sun and shaded areas as well for relaxing and small picnics, activities, etc. Photos Complimentary of the Google Pixel 6 Pro

Nice park near our home to walk the dogs. Gets a little busy on the weekend, but it's a pretty walk with trails on both sides of the road. It has a large pond..(I cannot call it a lake) that you can walk around but be sure to dodge the geese and duck #2. It's wonderful to walk in the winter as less crowded but do be aware of the ice that collects on the bridge. Overall, convenient and nice for short family or fur kid walks.

Small park. There is a paved walking trail and an interesting historical site of a mine. A tunnel takes you to the other side of the park for a walk around a pond. I did not see any picnic tables here or bathrooms. Also very little signage in general. It was a little confusing to find the tunnel to use. The historical signs were good. Just the general park signs were very few, no map sign or other information. Easy path for wheels of any type. No playground here. Not a lot of shade on the lake side. Negatives for me are: Signage, lack of some sort of bathroom and no picnic tables.

This might be about the only significant historical site in the Midlothian area, but it is fascinating. I think few would realize that coal mining was done so early in this area, the scope of the enterprise, and its connection to wartime events. And the park, with its nice pond/lake and woods, is a pleasant place for a walk. Go if you haven't already.

Yes, as well as some grape and poison ivy
Yes, but it is catch and release only. No one is allowed to keep any of the fish caught
Yes
Only a pond, no real fishing.
As an adult yes. There are exemptions for children and there may be for county residents. Best check with the county online.
Yes they are. On the leash. There are poop bags near the trash can on the parking lot. Bring some anyway just in case.
Not sure but id love to do a shoot with you and your band @_diegotomas
I've taken senior pictures there. You just have to be mindful of your background.
