My doc noted generics were fine to substitute. When I picked up my prescription, it was way more expensive than I expected. When I asked why, I was simply told it's "x drug" and would count towards my deductible. Me, being someone who rarely needs medicine, paid for it not knowing any better, only to realize with some research I'd functionally been fleeced for no real reason. Why in the world would the pharm tech not give me a generic when that's the obvious option for a customer confused why their script costs so much? Don't know whether to be aggravated at Walgreens or the sorry excuse that is the American healthcare system, but since my money went to Walgreens, I'll go with them.

Very upset that they charged $32.00 for the same medicine that cost only $10 at a schnucks pharmacy and $5.00 at Walmart. In addition, they didn’t have it in stock when it was needed, They were told I would have to get it filled immediately …

Lesley was great:)) We had to make a change to photographic error. We came in and no additional charge for Services. That's why I always get all my printed photographs done at Walgreens.

CVS stopped accepting my insurance, but Walgreens did, so I switched pharmacies. They have always given me excellent customer service and I’m so glad they are close by and have convenient hours. Great place :)
