When water pours from the ceiling you panic! What do I do? Who should I call? These thoughts flood your mind. My husband and I are so happy we called Servpro. They came to our home the day they were called. The technicians (Jason and Juan) were professional and showed sincere interest, in not only helping with the water damage but reassuring us it was going to be okay. In the days following, Servpro sent a technician to our home every day at a time that was convenient for us to take a look at the progress being made and ensure they didn't miss anything. I would highly recommend Servpro and would like to thank our technicians Jason and Juan. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Overall, we had a positive experience with ServPro of Union county. The team came at 8 PM on a Sunday night and started the remediation. The first few days went very well. The team removed wet flooring and sheetrock and installed fans/dehumidifiers to dry out the space. It wasn't until the 3rd or 4th day when the experience took a turn. I do not recommend using Juan on any jobs. Juan was dishonest in his assessment and recommendations. We had a wood flooring expert come out to quote the repairs and noticed that there were still several feet of wet hardwoods (the planks were buckled). When I mentioned this to Juan, he insisted it would dry out eventually and be no issue. We pushed to have the wood flooring removed. Reluctantly, Juan agreed. Once the wood was removed, the sub floor was still very wet. Had we not insisted that he remove the material, we would have had serious issues down the road. Putting fans on a wet wood floor, will not dry it out unless you remove the hardwood floors. Juan told us that it would dry out eventually with the fans and dehumidifiers. Eventually, after involving a manager and everything was removed and dried out appropriately. I highly recommend asking for Jason, Robert and Tanner on any future jobs. These guys were excellent to work with. They were not the team lead, but once my confidence in Juan was lost, I relied heavily on the other guys for information and updates. They are great and I would not hesitate in recommending them again. ServPro, Jason deserves a promotion to supervisor. He was wonderful throughout our project. Jason was consistently honest and worked hard to make sure I was comfortable with the process. He never overstepped the chain of command nor was he disrespectful to his supervisor. When I wanted proof that the floor was wet or dry, Jason would show me the readings on the meter. When I asked for one more board to be removed, just to make sure we got it all, he removed one more board without hesitation. I DO NOT recommend ServPro for the repairs. We had someone come out to provide an estimate. I never heard back. This is very unprofessional and disappointing. Many people prefer a turnkey operation. ServPro missed the mark here.
