Really good food. Good service. Nice space. Teriyaki Salmon was the best. Sushi was great.

Expensive, nice atmosphere and good service but small portions and not very tasty.

For the price I expected top quality ingredients with japanese enthusiasm for excellence in preparation. If that's what you expect, then I'd recommend against Nobo. I got the dinner bento. The chicken teriyaki was seemingly a freezer-section chicken breast with teriyaki sauce with a side of cheap rice (not the yummy sticky rice typical of japanese restaurants.) The sashimi pieces weren't bad, if a bit small, but not super fresh. The california rolls were ok. I appreciated their substitution of a panko breaded chicken yakitori stick instead of shrimp tempura. It had good texture. My father got the oyako don. I happen to love this dish and have seen it done well. Nobo doesn't do it well. My overall impression is that it's very hard to run an excellent restaurant. This was the first time I visited Nobo, so I don't know if Nobo Management has always chosen cheap ingredients and seemingly inexpensive kitchen staff without passion for the cuisine. But it seems that's where they are now. I hope Nobo succeeds by turning things around an providing an experience befitting their price tag. I won't know because I'll not go back.

Greeted with a smile by the friendly host and sat quickly. Felt welcomed. Waiter gave me plenty of time to look over the menu without pressure. Food came quick and hot. Miso soup was good but the tofu bits were the smallest I've seen in Miso. Kobe Spring Rolls are fantastic and made me think of a new take on Philly cheesesteak. Tebasaki Wings were massive, but the taste was typical for wings. The Dry Tossed Salt & Pepper Pork Loin with Grilled Shishito Peppers was not what I expected from the description and ultimately disappointing. The batter slid off the meat and the meat didn't look appetizing by itself. The batter was also not really browned for being fried, but was a plain looking off-white. Was tough to cut through, but the taste wasn't bad. The peppers were interesting and the included fried rice was good. I finished it off with the Mocha Chocolate Cheesecake which was really good. It's eat here again, but my main would not be the Dry Tossed Salt & Pepper Pork Loin with Grilled Shishito Peppers again.

They do a great job of social distancing, wearing of masks, cleanliness and small group control. We never felt our safety was compromised. And the food as well as the service was incredible!
Hi David, unfortunately we are not open Christmas Day but we are for Christmas Eve. Hope to see you soon! Happy Holidays!
