Shouldn’t even be considered a ministry when they always deny people

I dropped off some goods here and they were super helpful and friendly!

This place is no help. They denied me help with my utilities because I get a 104$ utility allowance a month from section 8 and my utilities are over 300$ a month. I am single mom of 4 and I have been in between jobs. I had a shut off notice for July 7th I had to call them multiple times before anyone returned my call a day before my utilities are due. The lady I spoke with was very rude and unreasonable. I have a personal relationship with God and this is not how you handle the needy. I pray God has mercy on their souls and I will never contact them for anything else!!

Definitely schedule yourself an appointment with one of the staff at Faith In Serving Humanity or Fish for Short, they will help you out and I hope you can find yourself commented to in the first place
They will put you on hold for a long time to take care of previous calls, but most of the time it's only for about 15 minutes. Call early in the morning or around 2pm.
FISH does not usually help with deposits. I would encourage you to go by and fill out an application.
I wouldn't give them anything. They don't help the community. It must be all about money to them and nothing else!
I don't know..I was in that situation once and the police took me to a women's shelter

Not sure that they do that. You can call their office to see. If not there are other organizations that will. I think goodwill does.
Good luck with that that's what I was trying to get help with the $500 electricity bill and I live off of $1,400 a month 100% disabled with a special needs son and they denied me
