I had a good experience, they saw Lola fast, they explained all the costs beforehand and the treatments were done quickly. I was in and out fairly quick which is exactly how it should be when treating something simple. No long waiting. Not too pricey either.

Depends on the doctor, Dr Phillips is fantastic. Others not so much so ask for her.

They canceled my appt because I was running 5 mins late..my dog was in pain when I got home from work and they didn't want to wait at all. Need to find a vet that puts my pets needs before her own!!

I have been taking my 3 dogs to this Animal Hospital since I moved to Fort Lauderdale 14 years ago. I started with Dr. Nelson who was FANTASTIC, after he left it has been trying a new vet every year or two years, finally I has Dr. Jake which was great. All other vets in between, mediocre at best. Unfortunately today I did try a new doctor, since I wanted to "stay loyal" to Bayview Animal Hospital. The doctor was late almost 30 minutes. And I was not impressed, not sure what is the need to charge $45 for "ear cytology". When regardless of the result, my dog will get a medication that covers yeast/fungus, bacteria and has a steroid. She could easily skipped the cytology and just give the same medication. I could clearly tell by the "moist" smell of the dog ear and the buildup inside his ear canal, this was a yeast/fungal infection. And for a skin rash that she states it is not bacterial, she prescribes a topical antimicrobial. Are we over treating or overcharging. And all the fantastic staff that was there before, is all gone. I do not recognize a single person there anymore. Not sure what is wrong with the place but neither the vets nor the staff, appear to want to remain there. I think it is time to take my 3 dogs to a new vet that knows what they are doing.
