I’m torn with writing this review because dr. Seeds deserves 5 stars. Hands down the sweetest most compassionate vet. However, their front desk staff is completely abysmal. They are rude, not compassionate and nasty. I bought my cat there on 8/24. I was told he has an infection. He was seen by dr. Bellis, who I truly believe wanted to run the bill up before telling me he had cancer and was at the end. I was pressured into leaving him over night to be monitored at $3,000. Mind you the diagnosis at this point was infection. I did testing antibiotics and fluids, the bill was still $1,000. I am only mentioning money because it just seemed like they wanted to bleed me while I was desperate. I went back a week later and thank god he was seen by dr. Seeds who told me he has fluid in his lungs and a mass in his stomach which is indicative of cancer. With his symptoms he was at the end. She was so kind and compassionate without an underlying motive. I put him down 4 days later in the comfort of our house and the vet agreed there is no way this wasn’t seen 3 weeks prior.

We brought our Pomeranian in for respiratory issues and had a great experience from the minute we pulled up to the facility. The staff was extremely compassionate and got us in quickly. Dr. Greg Levine examined our dog and I can honestly say this is the first time he did not cower in a corner with fear at the vet’s office! Dr. Levine was very gentle and kind with him which made this a stress free visit for both our pup and us! We were given meds for his condition and sent home. I am very grateful to Garden State and Dr. Levine (who is awesome!!) for a wonderful first time experience with an emergency facility!

this place is wonderful, i had to bring my 4.5 year old hedgehog to get put to rest due to his wobbly hedgehog syndrome & garden state accommodated us so well .. i couldn’t have asked for a better experience. a card was sent 3 days after i put him to rest with his paws & nose print, and received his ashes almost exactly a week later. Thank you guys so much❤️

DO NOT, DO NOT bring your pet to GSVS as they will kill them!!! This is my second time with them. They hired inexperienced fresh grad vets who know nothing but thought they know it all. Dr Kent was skeptical of my cat having FIP based on blood work result and ultrasound, but he still proceeded to give subq fluid which is FATAL to an FIP patient. How did they not know when FIP is common in ER? Outrageous. They also performed procedures WITHOUT owners’ approval and overcharged them on my vet bill. Guys please do not support this money hungry pet killing practice. I will NEVER go back.

So, I'm not a vet, but you might have to bring the dog in to be seen in person though not much anyone could do via Google questions.

How does one achieve only 3 stars in this field?

Because it is a veterinary hospital it should automatically receive more stars?

Do they accept Discover card?

Did anyone answer this question? Or did you take your pet to the vet?
