Awesome place for kids to learn how to swim and progress up to competitive swimming.

My three year old daughter slipped and fell feet first, into the shallow end of an in ground pool. I jumped into the pool to grab her. Before I was able to, she turned around, grabbed the wall and pulled herself out of the pool. She then sat on the ground crying because she was very scared. I was in shock and relieved that she was able to pull herself out of the pool that quickly. The swim lessons work! They work very well. My daughter does not always enjoy parts of swim class. She doesn’t love floating on her back. That being said, she remembered how to react quickly and safely. Pods has a fabulous program where safety is priority.

The pool is bright since there are ample windows. Entrance to the pool is right next to the main entrance. The GPS location on Google Maps was directing me to the neighboring dealership. Entry into/exit from the parking lot is narrow.

It is for the whole family. The kids pool is heated to maybe 88-90 degrees. It is an awesome place.

Hi Diane, Thanks for your interst in Pods Swimming. Our pools are chlorinated but we do have State of the art pool filtration and treatment system. Our filtration system goes above and beyond typical treatment packages. It was designed with industrial grade controls, filtration, and treatment systems that have been used in the most rigorous Rhode Island municipal pool applications for years. Our UV system has received "EPA approved validation" for performance to assure patrons protection against waterborne diseases.
Good afternoon my question is how much do the classes start at for a 6 month old
For the babies- they sing or used to sing songs. That is for the parent and child class. For the older kids- 3 and older they go in with just the instructor. For sure no songs. The kids have a nice time either way. I would recommend this place. Great instructors!
