This is the most amazing little a&w restaurant. The deck overlooks a little wondering stream and you can actually order from the deck it's so cool. The staff are just wonderful small town vibe small town people with big hearts. Highly recommend that you pull off and get yourself some food here at this great nostalgic a&w.

I have lived in ORTONVILLE for over 30 years and each spring our family is thrilled when A&W opens. This past Friday May 27 2022 while eating, my wife and I were witness to a horrible display of plain rudeness to a customer with a lot of kids in the car by the “manager” manning the order taking…. All over one bag of Onion rings that the customer wanted replaced because they were cold….. it should have been handled quietly and efficiently instead of a “manager” yelling at a customer. Regardless of how we have enjoyed A&W - we will find a different restaurant that has employees that are trained to be kind and courteous- shame on you

I had the worst experience yesterday, and I still feel bad about the whole thing. I have been going to A & W since I was a kid, and now I hesitate to go back. I asked for a warm set of onion rings, as mine were cold. The “manager”, as she called herself argued with me over the intercom, not once but twice. Said if I had eaten my onion rings 15 mins ago when I ordered them, they would still be hot. Accept they weren’t hot when they came out. I had them for about 5 mins before eating them, as I was passing out food to the rest of my car. Another “manager” came out to get my tray, she was also rude. She said don’t you want these onion rings-the “new” ones-I said no, I now feel sick to my stomach after that whole altercation. , as well as being embarrassed for being talked to so rudely Over the intercom. I’m truly sad about this, as A & W is one of my favorites.

Great food!! The root beer was so delicious, there was a thin layer of Frozen root beer on top!! 😁😁
