Being a patient at Beth Israel in Boston, I was Coming here for the first time for an emergency allergic reaction… Everyone was super polite and professional and based on the time I went , there was no wait. Everyone from the receptionist, to the woman Kerry taking my vitals , to the nurse and the doctor , they made me feel completely cared for and important. I can tell you I’ve been to urgent care at mass general in Chelsea , a few times , and sadly never had a comfortable experience. Thank you to everyone who assisted me, you are appreciated. Worst experience I ever had in a hospital. Doctor didn’t seem to care all about me being there. Talked to me in a very condescending way and at the end of the consultation he didn’t provide me with a written prescription or detailed description of my symptoms or issue. Later I had this horrendous bill for a 2 minutes consultation and extra costs not associated with anything with the consultation. Had to call my insurance to deal with that.

Our healthcare system has hit rock bottom. The worst experiences As an RN myself I'll never go back. Their advanced urgent care can't deal with a very painful ingrown toenail. Waited 2 hours and was told to follow up with specialist. Wow.make me wait, bill me,and then tell me to go elsewhere, wow.
