My husband go to the Waffle House in Meridianville Al almost every morning. This morning 4/29/2022 he goes in around 4:30am there was 4-5 workers including a COOK! There was 4 other customers in there setting at a table. He was seated and then one of the waitresses came and told him that they was only doing Togo orders because there was an issue with the cook but they was doing takeouts. If there was an issue with the cook how are they doing takeout?? This is not the first time something like this has happened. He has went several mornings and they was closed and a few times the cook said that he didn’t have a waitress because he sent her home. It’s at least once or twice a week that this happens. You can’t call them before you go because they have there phone going to a recording.

Even though they were slammed and had been all morning, everyone was polite, friendly, and took care to get orders in promptly and made sure were correct when delivered. Food was good, cooked as requested. The manager needs to be made aware, which I'm sure they know, they had a wonderful way staff and cooks on this morning at 11am . Keep up the great service and thank you for your willingness to work.

Horrible service. Me and my friends walked in he said to go or dine in we were about to answer he repeated once again. He was very rude. For the food the bacon it was so burnt it broke so easily. Asked for chocolate chip pancakes the cook “forgot” the server said “you forgot the chocolate chips” he said “oh shit” the food was either burnt or wasn’t done right . I don’t know the guys name. It was very unprofessional. He also was touching the silverware with his bare hands. Health hazard?? We are not the kind of people that usually complain but this was the worst visit I’ve ever had. If I could give it no stars I would.

Service was awful. The guy making our food was super rude. Food was burnt and not made correctly, and me and my friends aren’t normally the type to complain or have to correct the servers or cooks. Overall the experience was not good. Server was slow and not really concerned with the overall service, but then again she may had been new..
