I recently saw Dr. LaPaglia for the first time for a routine eye exam. I had been with my previous eye care office in Worcester for almost 20 years, staying with them after my optometrist had retired even though the service had started to decline. I wanted better service and something closer to home, and am really glad I made the switch. Dr. LaPaglia provided a very thorough eye exam, and took the time to explain in detail a couple of eye conditions I have that I felt had been glossed over with my previous optometrist(s). With my previous eye care office, I would be passed through a technician or two for the visual tests before seeing the optometrist for a rather rushed visit, so I really appreciated that my entire appointment was one-on-one with Dr. LaPaglia. I feel extremely confident in the care I received. She was highly knowledgeable about my eye conditions, and about the different types of contacts and glasses lenses that I can switch to for better vision. She was genuinely warm and friendly. If you want top-notch personalized eye care, rather than feeling like just another patient who’s being rushed through a visit, this is your place. I highly recommend.
