My dog is a patient at pets in need. My dog has congestive hart failure. When I went to pick up her medicine the lady behind the desk was cold and insensitive and turned me away! I talked to someone before I came in yet that lady wouldn't let me speek to any one elce and I was not able to get her medicine. I told her my dog would die. I was crying yet she turned me away. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DON'T GO THERE !!!

They are the greatest. No fear of my dog. My dog is not the nicest to strangers. She is a rescue and just doesn't like new people. The whole time she gave a little growl as they gave her shot and examined and they just loved her. Didn't even muzzle her. What a blessing they are to treat an animal like her with such love.

All the staff was very nice . The Dr and vet tech was very professional. Took time out to listen to our many concerns. I felt comfortable talking to them . I feel blessed to have y'all as my furbabbies medical team.

Very friendly staff! Great place for people to go with their pets. They also have a program for people who are on a fixed income to apply for services for a discounted rate.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
I'd call and ask if there is anything they can't take. I'm pretty sure they would accept it though.
You have to qualify by filling out an application. And basically it's based on income.
They provide shots and many other services! When my kitten was sick i took her in she got treated right away and got booster shots they also help with spay and neuter

I don't know. Perhaps you can start one. ❤️
This is a vet office for low income families with furbabies.
Like they said. It's an awesome place for your pets but do be prepared for a wait even when you have your appointment. Also, they don't do surgeries or emergency care although they do network with other vets for some services. That's how I was able to afford to have my dog's teeth cleaned.
You fill out paperwork and they charge based on your income.
Yes you can now go in with your pets.
It depends on what you get done for your pet it's very reasonable but you must fill out an application and apply before visiting
Ashlyn, you will need to register with them first and provide proof of income. I suggest going it ASAP since are busier than usual due to Covid-19. They are wonderful but sometimes the techs spoil the cats and then your in trouble 😁
I don't believe they do
I'm so sorry to hear this. if you would go to our site at pincincinnati.org there will is GET HELP tab and that is where you will find the application to apply. Please do this as soon as possible so we can get your application process started. We know how important our fur babies are and you will be in our thoughts.
It really depends on the day. Even though our staff tries to keep things moving as quickly and safely as possible. Some days we have a lot of critical care appointments that can take some time but that is to insure the best veterinary practice for clients pets. If time is an issue morning appointments would be the best.
They were taking new clients as of this past Sunday. Call to get an application filled out.
Right now, about a week.
I doubt it. This is a place for poor pets not for pampered pets.
The $40 is for an initial visit per pet, then $20 per pet any visit after that.
Pets In Need des not have any Kentucky locations, however they do not have any area restrictions. As long as you income qualify and are able to take your pets to the Lockland lotation they are open arms. Some clients come as far as Indiana, Dayton OH and Georgetown KY.
It is income based. As long as you can provide proof of income, or lack of, and pay the visits at the time of service, they should accept you. $40 for first visit $20 each after that. Some services have a small fee, like if your pet needs bloodwork that might be a few dollars. Flea meds are $7 a month. To apply, you go in without your pet. Good luck!
Check stubs or letter from ssi/ssdi
,Do not serve geckos. However there is an Animal Eye Institute in Norwood.
Just traditional pets, such as cats and dogs. They may be able to refer you to an exotic vet, but they don't treat them there.
Ucann is months to get an appt. Do itnow online. Its a great organization
You can try Noah's ark on Colerain but they won't be as inexpensive as pets in need but they may do payment arrangement
Call the clinic and explain the emergency, it will depend on what the emergency is, to determine if the can treat the cat.
Most regular vet office do dental.
We do not declaw cats and are strongly opposed to the practice of declawing cats. Ann Hill, Executive Director

Yes if your pet is in a carrier you can take your pet on Metro.
Goes by income. You must bring proof of income. If you're approved they make an appointment for you to bring in your pets.
They only do appointments for spay and neuter. They have no emergency staff.
Yes only a veterinarian can answer that for you!! Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!!
Thank you Tony Stites
If you are low income take him to pets in need. They are very good with animals and they charge 15 dollars for visits. They also include a lot of items to
