Of the more affordable restaurants in The Coronado Resort it has a good choice, food is really nice. Portions are huge. We could have shared one of the fajita skillets. The atmosphere is lovely and the love guitar player is both talented and unobtrusive. Staff are great, heather in the front desk is pleasant and knowledgeable and great with the kids. Liked it here.

Hostess and server were amazing. Setting and decoration are impressive. Food had great presentation but was lacking on flavor. Same for the drinks. Probably flavor was toned down to accommodate visitors not used to real Mexican flavor. Still a nice experience.

I had a wonderful 45 wedding anniversary weekend planned. We ate at Maya Grill for dinner on the 26th. Everything seemed good until much later when I got very sick. I had a very bad case of food poisoning from dinner. We had to leave the hotel and drive home. I spent the entire night in my bathroom. Next morning we went back to the hotel to check out. I told them that I was too sick to celebrate the beautiful evening I had planned for our anniversary. They had the assistant manager from Maya Grill call me she apologized and said she would refund our meal. She never refunded our meal. Even after I approached the front desk again we never got our meal refunded. We never got to have our nice anniversary dinner followed by drinks at Capa’s and watch the fireworks from their terrace. A weekend we were so looking forward to celebrating never got to happen because I was so sick with food poisoning from Maya Grill. I will always remember my 45th wedding anniversary as the celebration that didn’t happen because I got food poisoning from Maya Grill.
