Tess's Kitchen is a small restaurant in the small town of Pelham, TN and of course the food is home cooked and delicious. When we arrived it looked like the place was in someone's house, literally! Yet inside the seating is cozy but comfortable enough and the people are very friendly. There was a menu on the wall and the waitress realized that I had never been there before, so she immediately brought me a printed menu. Food service was a little slow but no worries, that when I was served it was worth the short wait. Food was fresh cooked homemade and very good. I travel a lot for business so finding these little gems in these little towns is such a treat. Good food and good people always make me feel a little better when I traveling. I will be back when I am in the area.

The absolute best food ever! This taste just like grandmas southern cooking! I've had everything from their Chinese stir fry..to a chicken salad to the catfish! Everything amazing! My absolute favorite is the catfish, slaw & turnip greens! It is very homey & you will always feel a southern welcome! Pam is the best!! Don't forget to get dessert!

The best food I've ever had!!! Went to lunch for my birthday, and the food was so good, we went back the next day for more! The portions were nice, and the staff was so friendly! I literally can't think of a single bad thing about it.
