Besides the outrageous prices, one can still find rare model railroading items here.

Grumpy? Or just a real old school new yorker? He always answers my questions and is one of the best parts of going to this place! Him amd John are classic!!! Please dont attack them, you will be sad when its gone.
No its open it never closed and you said you stay in the storage?
Very close. They're on 45 St. North side of the street. You'll hear em first; they got a train whistle and sound of wheels on tracks through a speaker onto the street. You go in, cool display on your left, pass the elevator and go down the stairs on your left.
Plenty of plastic model kits of different kinds of buildings & train-related structures in different scales HO, N, etc. plus non-train-related items all kinds of sizes of planes, boats, ships, trucks, cars, military vehicles & kinds I can't classify or even recall at the moment. Basement level store shelves packed with these things accdg to particular type. Staff will help you not only locate where things you want are but will check out catalogs for things not readily available. Store might be a bit claustrophobic & resemble a hoarder's treasure house but it's for getting that just-so item you want & not for the photographers of interior decorator magazines.
Yes
Maisto, Welly, (now by Atlas) Aliteri, Greenlight, Johnny Lightning, auto world and many more Red Caboose Hobbies carries. Most are reasonable others vary in prices.
I don't exactly remember the brand, but there is a decent selection available.
Try calling the number on their site
Yes they do, but it does take time since it's a small shop
Yes
He may have one or if he doesnt he can order you one
The truth is, I went today and bought a few planes, in terms of planes it has too much variety and very good, the only bad thing is that it is a bit messy, but it has everything and the other thing is that it raised the price a few dollars in front of us , trains have everything, and formula 1 cars today (December 8, 2021) if it has, it has little variety with formula 1 cars but it has several and accessories for models it has many things, a lot of variety, I warn you it seems used but everything is absolutely new everything is new a bit high prices but it is very good, they have to go down stairs to get to the store itself (it's hot)
If they have that in a brand called easy models, I'm not wrong
Yes
Give them a telephone telephone call, or pay them a visit.
I wd think they do altho haven't chkd that particularly. This place has an *immense* amount of models, trains & accessories than any place I know in NYC so pls give them a call.
Unkown if they do. Call and ask them.
That brand I don't know. However there is Life Like track block cleaner resembles that of a rubber eraser. Many other brands is available
You might want to call and make sure. Most train stores have a consignment section.
they sell older antique used trains for sure, they definitely have a few custom nyc subway cars as well
They should have some. The have amazing selection of h.o trains- scenery- buildings- vehicles etc.
It's in a basement. The last time I was there, it looked like a dumpster with boxes lying here and there. That's if you had expensive bronze (tree unit gas and coal turbine by Overland.) Painted at factory about US $ 3,000-,)
Yes! Vintage, and modern Lionel as well!
