I WAS CHARGED FOR FOOD I NEVER RECEIVED My friends and I decided on this restaurant for drinks and hookah. I heard good reviews about their food and figured I would place an order for a meal to go. I was told by the waitress to wait she will come back 20 mins before kitchen closes to take my order and place it to go. She placed the order and charged my card directly after placing the order just to come back to my table and inform me that the kitchen ran out of the fish that’s in the meaI I ordered. She tried to accommodate with something else on the menu but i informed her due to my strict diet I may only consume the fish and that she can just go ahead and process the refund for my order. She assured me that she processed the refund and that I won’t be charged just for me to be charged 26 dollars for food I never even got to see taste or smell. I’ve been trying to get ahold of someone at the restaurant for a week to settle this issue and have yet to get a response from staff. I do not live in the state and this has caused me to call my bank and file a fraud case.

OMG there with my daughter, grandson, her mom and grandma for her Graduation from college the food was absolutely amazing and it was my very first time going/eating at an African restaurant shame on me being born in Jamaica and just now eating some real authentic delicious African food. The staff was amazing everyone made us feel welcome even the regulars that eat there made us feel at home. Definitely can't wait to go back btw I had the grilled tilapia I was so good I'm going back to try the lamb
