Arlington Highlands was one giant super crowded place but one should expect that on Father's Day and Juneteenth. It was well worth the effort because a couple of friends and I got the chance to reminisce at the last Black Eyed Pea Restaurant in Texas. Each of us had ties to the first Black Eyed Pea location on Cedar Springs Rd some thirty years ago. As luck would have it, our server happened to have been employed by Black Eyed Pea restaurants continuously for thirty one years. The food was great and everything we ordered tasted just like the original locations food. I recommend this place for hearty home cooked meals like your grandmother made. They have several other types if cuisine as well including burgers, sandwiches, and fantastic deserts. You will be glad you stopped in.

Just like in college. Way better than Chipotle. Tacos are great too.

There were beautiful Christmas lights and a nice path around a small creek. It’s a very clean and nice place to walk around, with plenty of seating, too. There is also a wide variety of shopping opportunities, I’m sure there’s something for everyone.

No there is not
The highlands are outlet shopping center that have different restaurants. Which one exactly do you mean.
The Hilton garden inn is excellent. Great service, restaurant and bar. Walking to the highlands is easy.
To clarify, There is Ruby Tuesday in Texas, however there is none at the Highlands

You have two choices of seats. One is a regular movie type seat that does not recline and the other is a beat up, rolling office chair that is squeezed next to two other beat up office chairs that often bang into you when the other person moves. Some of the support springs are damaged so you end up leaning way too far back in the chair. Neither option of seating is good. Even though this is close by we head to a different theater.
