As in the name, most items were .99c before Covid, now there's very few items at that price. However their prices are still cheaper than major supermarket's, course their inventory is also a lot smaller too. Basically shop there first, then go to major supermarket's for the remaining items on your list.

The Staff are very friendly & helpful. The store is orderly and clean. You get what you pay for, of course. But I've found very utilitarian products that are holding up well with use.

Lots of great buys as long as you understand it's not all 99 cent items in there. Staff was hustling about and yet still attentive to customer needs

I'm not sure how to describe this place except for amazing I have been shopping here for the past 15 years or so and this is where I go before I go by my meat and other things at the major grocery store if you got kids this is the only way to go can save you hundreds of dollars literally a week. I have 7 kids so for snacks and drinks and paper plates and things you'd be a fool to buy anywhere else, just got back from there again still awesome

Hi El., our shelves are stocked frequently. Items vary by location, please check your local 99 to see what is in stock. You never know what treasures you might find. Thank you! 😊

So sorry this happened to you. I personally count all of my items ahead of time, and again as I load them onto the belt, so I know how much it will cost; and I watch cashiers scan each of my items, to make sure I am not double charged. I also count the beeps of each scan, to make sure nothing is missed. If I feel they double-scanned, I say something. I also check my receipt, before leaving the store, to make certain the number of items on the receipt matches the number of items I counted. This probably seems extreme, but this has happened to me, someplace, at some point. I don't like being cheated. So, I now do my due diligence to make certain I am getting what I want, and what I'm paying for--nothing more, and nothing less. Larger purchases require attentiveness. Everyone makes mistakes. So, I do my part to help. All the best.
