Hello
We were looking for a restaurant that served pork chops in the local area. I came across this place. Well I got the pork chop which was so tender and juicy was delicious. My husband got the prime rib which was also cooked to perfection. Also had the baked potato with vegetables. This was an awesome dinner. The portions were equal to the cost. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back very soon.

We love a neighborhood restaurant and there hasn’t been a decent one in Stoughton in a while. Stopped in to find the owner at the door and hit a high top table in the bar; Gianna, was tending bar and couldn’t have been nicer! It all started with a great salad without cold tomatoes and homemade dressings-Yum!!! Had the Steak Frites and the Fried Seafood platter and can’t say that we’d had a better meal there. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection and the batter on the fried seafood was so light and crisp, can’t wait to go back!!

Only been here 2x before the pandemic and during those times place was pretty good. Place has been hit hard during the pandemic. No longer make the house potato chips. Every time we ordered take away they were 15-30 minutes over the time they told us to be there. Even then we live less than 5 minutes away and the food is luke warm at best. Have misplaced orders or forgotten items for our orders. Did try dinning in 1 time post pandemic we were sat right at the entrance with a baby in a high chair. Felt in the way and everyone coming in and out wanted to "play" with the baby. Ordered a house wine was told it was not in stock. Ordered a root beer was told it was not in stock. However, then they brought something out that sort of tasted like root beer. I think they just mixed Dr. Pepper with something but it was not root beer tasted okay though. Wanted honey mustard sauce was told they were out of stock. Waiter was telling me how he was the only one on staff (which was true) but I did not see management, bar staff, or any of the greeting service staff helping him out. Felt bad for the guy. Place is always busy so I am sure they are not hurting for business. Maybe secure some essential ingredients spend the $$ on staffing. Heck do some real advertisement besides always posting your specials on the town Facebook group. Only this place and 1 other restaurant still do it consistently and it seems desperate. I do not know where the money is going but for a place like this I would not think I would encounter these issues. Prices are okay but with inflation I need to think wisely with my dollars. Grew up always eating at home and going out was a luxury kind of experience and still cannot shake that feeling. Not saying a place needs to be fancy but something: quality, price for quantity, cleanliness, up to date atmosphere etc.. Look at others photos (not the restaurants) does it scream quality or freshness? It looks like the same potatoes and vegetables you get at any diner. Yes you can get prime rib here. However, the cuts are nothing special and mine were always super fatty and salty. It's the only restaurant in town that offers it so unless we get some competition it is what it is. Which is probably why this place gets such high praise. This place is just a run of the mill restaurant that I am afraid does not really offer the same quality/experience as before.

Service was slow, and non-attentive. My fish and chips were burnt even malt vinegar couldn't cover it. The slaw was bland tasted like eating mayo straight from the jar.
