I have been a resident of Vernon Garden Apartments for nearly 5 years. I am appreciative of the secure, quiet, atmosphere and supportive community. I transitioned from an older unit to an updated townhouse with ease. I enjoy a beautiful remodeled apartment with updated appliances. I have the pleasure of enjoying 2 comfortable bathrooms. The full bathroom has the perfect shower walls that are easy to clean. The grounds are well kept and are a pleasure to share with the neighborhoods four legged friend. Peter has been prompt and helpful with every request, responding timely. All the Maintanance workers work fast and are friendly. My stay here has been fantastic and I have been happy to call this place home. Peter is so easy to talk to that I would consider him a friend not just the “property guy”. I would absolutely recommend considering Vernon Gardens for your home!

I have spent the last 2 years at Vernon Gardens. I am very bittersweet to be leaving. It has been a wonderful place to call home for me and my dog. The grounds are beautiful and conveniently located. Apartments were nicely remodeled with no maintenance issues during my stay. There is access to many trails and a lovely sight of the Hockanum River. No complaints and highly recommended for any pet owner (or not) looking for a place to live.

Very great and safe place to live. Pros: They have surveillance cameras all over the property. thicker walls so you don't hear your upstairs neighbors walking around. heat and water included. The maintenance group is very quick to respond and fix any issues that arise. very open layout. (my wife and I are in the two bedroom remodeled apartment) strong water pressure. is built along a trail through the woods. cons: pool hasn't been opened once since we've been living here. the washer and driers are filled with pet hair... which my wife is allergic to. (so we still have to take our clothes to a laundry mat to wash.) the numbers on the assigned parking are very faded and in the not so well lit area, makes it hard to read. especially during the winter when salt is applied. i was threatened with having my truck towed because i parked in the wrong parking spot... due to not being able to read the numbers.
