This camp really leaves fond memories. The location is excellent, it is close to Newport, the crab pier, there are many large supermarkets, Fred meyer Safeway Walmart.the staff are friendly, and they gave me the map and tide table for digging razor clams. The nearby Yaquinine head Lighthouse is famous and worth a visit. There is a path leading to the beach to watch the sunset. have a chance to come back, highly recommend.

Lots of nice people . Lots of campers from out state . We still like more pacific city and seaside they have more space and games for kids on our opinion . Place Is very quiet. Lots of birds . The pool is very clean . They have trails to go the beach π. They have a dog run very large . Bathrooms need to be updated . On the s side . On the north side deck above the gym joist hungers need to be stainless steel lost of corrosion on joist hunger currently, Our kids love it here

We enjoyed spring break at the Whalers resort. The only bummer was the pool and hot tub. First off, I was told the ceiling was falling in so noone was allowed in the pool. Structurely it looked fine...but what do I know. The hot tub on the other hand broke during our stay so we never enjoyed that either. Everything else was fine...a little out dated but that kind of added to the charm of the place. I will add that the shuffleboard area needs some love. Maybe fix the poles and lighting down there.

The staff was nice and welcoming. The restrooms and showers were kept clean. I would say they do need a remodel, and we ran out of hot water in the showers pretty quickly. Other than that, we had a good experience here.

The spots have lots of trees so if you can find an open spot yes you can put a tent next to your RV. There are also tent spots available.
Thankfully they were there for us to check in. But for dome reason they weren't getting phone calls that day.
There are also some gravel hills that get pretty steep to watch out for.
You have to buy a Thousand Trails membership in order to be eligible for monthly rates over the winter. Then regular Thousand Trails membership stays apply in the summer.
Not good. You have to be close to a WiFi tower. The side we were on had 2 spots that were close but no hooks ups. It's a nice place and if your in the right spot you can get the WiFi. For a short period

Yes
Yes they do. Some spots are ocean view.
Campers are allowed and so are nonmembers.
AT&T works everywhere in the park. Others are very spotty and unreliable.
Yes they do in all sites.
The bbq's at the cabins are filled. No additional charges (except linens).
Bottom line... you can only stay here up to three weeks. They do not do long term.
