Hi Diane, The boundaries of a property are individual cases. Each one is different. It depends on the location, whether records indicate marks were set, whether the marks found are original, undisturbed and called for in the record. Foremost when was the property first created and who was the original surveyor. There are other things to consider, such as, the degree of difficulty for measuring. Meaning forest land, steep terrain, and more than I can describe here. so, I am sorry for not answering your question, but, it one that many people ask.
