Will. Never. Go. Back. Ordered a transmission for my car on a Tuesday and was told it would come between Friday , Monday or Tuesday. I put a $300 deposit down on it and everything. Called Friday and Saturday to see if it was there yet and got told they had no idea and would call us back. Of course no call back. Called Tuesday to see where it was and the guy said it never got ordered. They took our $300 and never ordered the transmission. When we asked for our money back the guy claims we have to wait for a gentleman named Brian and he would CALL US BACK….to make things worse I called back and asked to speak to Brian and they transferred me right to him. They lied and said he wasn’t in and he actually was!!! Beyond awful customer service and a complete waste of time.

Thanks for your question! As I work in the Finance department, I can't give you an honest, direct answer.
HOWEVER, what I can suggest is to give our Sales team a call. Jim, Jason, Justin, Mike, Will and Adam will find the best price for the part you need, and get it to the Chuck & Eddie's location closest to you (Southington, Hartford and New Haven).
Getting it installed, however, is between you and your mechanic; unfortunately, we don't do installs.
Finally, you asked if it was worth it? While this is largely a subjective question, here are some points you can consider: is the Intrepid vital to your day-to-day activities? Are you considering a change to a different vehicle? Truly, the worth of getting the control module, getting it installed, and getting back on the road, versus other considerations is entirely your call. We won't tell you what to do, but we can make suggestions that may work to make your options and decision easier.

To junk a car, no they do not require a battery. All cars in the upull it lot do not have batteries in them . If you are buying a used battery from them, they do charge a core fee for your old battery

Call them, then call Ross Auto Parts in Bristol. Not the same class of operation, but they have lots of of older vehicles there.

Don't know if the state gets it or if it's a cleanup process but that is a good question
All i can say is i went there they were very knowledgeable and the price was unbeatable for my Audi A4 transmission best price and it was very hard to find
And yes i called them and several others to find my prices
