In the ER they took excellent and respectful care of me and diagnosed and treated me correctly. A no frills facility except for an excellent tall doctor and 2 excellent nurses. Gave me important info for preventative care. Got my IV in first attempt and no bruising. I was as sick as a dog upon entry. 4 hours later I got discharged in much better shape. They were very good with my very ill roommate too, who had to be medivac'd. I am grateful for their expert no-nonsense care.

Do not go to this ER. Nobody asks what is wrong with you upon arrival and you wait on a folding chair OUTSIDE of a locked door! There is no triage to get the sickest patients in first. I was in excruciating pain for hours and nothing was done.

My friend had a severed thumb, and the doctor looked him dead in the eye when he asked why he wasn't admitted after a half hour of waiting and replied "No one ever died from a severed thumb. He'll be fine" and left us to wait. They wouldn't even give him water when he was about to pass out. This place is an absolute joke, and the people who work here should have their licenses revoked.

I had my baby here at the end of October 2021. What should have been a peaceful birth was made into a horrific experience. No communication from the doctor (Oliver Puttler), and he PULLED my placenta out instead of letting it come naturally. I asked what he was doing and told him to stop but I was ignored. I wanted to birth the placenta before the cord was cut and he told the nurses basically that he’d do what he wanted. The baby came and he clamped and cut the cord immediately with no regard to my husband. Baby was not in distress so getting him rushed to a warmer wasn’t a factor. He was just being impatient. I had my baby around 10 pm at night, so at 10am the next morning I asked to have my iv removed because it wasn’t necessary to have in and it was itchy and uncomfortable. They said they were busy. I asked 3 more times throughout the day and finally got it removed at 7pm. That and them not bringing medication on time is completely unacceptable. I talked to the complaint person who said they would investigate, and received a gaslighting letter in the mail that basically said “sorry you feel that way” I will not be paying your hospital for assaulting me, and I’m honestly considering legal action at this point. I would have been better off having my baby in the bathtub at home.

8-8 visiting hours. You must check in with the charge nurse of the department you want to visit to see if pets can visit too. No pets in the ICU. Pet therapy with Emma the Corgi is Tuesday’s on the medical surgical department.
