It very frustrated as a parent that your child is left alone for more than 8hr in a facility with nobody waying on to b transported ..staff need a smile especially the security /correction officer that at the welcoming tthe door downstairs with a broken foot hes rude and miserable...judge lawyer and all are home and my son is alone ..because we go to court don't mean we as people are criminals ...don't judge book by cover. .

Everything was smooth and easy. I arrived early and found free street parking, went through security, and went to my assigned room. The actual room was smaller than I thought which was actually nice. We were given our paper work after waiting in a short line. Staff were friendly and efficient. The judge called us up, went through the legal stuff, and we were done in about two minutes. The total time from start to finish was less than one hour. Can't complain.

Very rude security. The staff is rude overall. No cell phones allowed in the building. People are constantly yelled at. I was yelled at for standing in a hallway waiting for someone to come out of the restroom. These people are miserable.

Stop and save a block down on Rock st. they will hold it there, they may charge a small fee I believe.
They should have advocates on site, but you can always request free legal advice or an advocate to help.
It depends on whether your divorce is uncontested, meaning you are in full agreement to the terms, or contested meaning you are not in agreement. Other considerations like child custody, support, marital asset division, etc play an important role in the length of a divorce. Contact a local attorney. Most give free initial consults to get a better idea of timelines. My office gives a 1/2 free initial consult.
It should start the day the judgement was entered so yes thevday you were in court. Unless there was a different start day put on your court order.
You can get copies of your paperwork at thr clerks office locates in the family and probate court
