Stunning architecture and deep wooden interiors will please any wanderer. Immersion into a chapel with relics from 850 saints, mostly first class, brings a rush of hope to all the weary and a pounce of joy to everyone who enters. They are always hosting events to excite your Faith journey and you can be assured of a gentle, evangelizing experience for those who are still seeking. The Catholic gift shop is the best in Ohio. I dare you to find a better one.

Love this little gem we have. What a great place to go and be with the saints and meditate. Beautiful place and the museum is great.

Amazingly beautiful. So peaceful. A fantastic place to Pray. So many Saints! Some of the finest woodwork I've ever seen. All glory to God!

You could consider this chapel “in the middle of nowhere”, between raunchy farmland smells and flat rows of crop land. It’s a spiritual oasis. Immaculate. When I wanna be “somewhere else”, even outside of myself and the daily grind. It’s …We consider the farmland smells a unique part of our charm ;) Thank you for visiting!

Hello, are you asking about the Maria Stein Shrine or the Retreat House? We are neighbors but two separate entities. We do not serve lunches. Additionally, the Maria Stein CountryFest is held on our grounds but we do not plan or organize it. That is a community festival ran by a volunteer committee. Hope all this info helps!
Hello! There is no admission fee to explore the Shrine. However, if you would like a staff-guided tour, there would be a fee. Please contact us at 419-925-4532 to learn more.
It sits on about 40 or so acers. The relic chapel itself is about the size of a small church. The building that it is a part of is a 4 story building with a good size church a gift shop on the main floor and museum on the second floor. It has a relaxing atmosphere to it
No, we do not provide wheelchairs, but the building is handicap accessible.
Hi Barbara, those are held at the Spiritual Center, not at the Shrine. You can contact them at 419-925-7625 for more info.
