Review for 2021 summer time. Unbeatable price though there was one unpleasant accident. They close sometimes with no announcement online when its raining cos the roof has holes and it's leaking in some places. I came all the way from another borough (more than an hour commute) just to find out they are closed cos of the rain. I was not alone there as there was another frustrated client looking through the closed gates with disbelief. Apart from that it's a nice (for the summer at least) climbing outdoor gym

I love this place, very good prices, the month pass is a great deal and it's a good place for a beginner to get a taste of climbing

No, there isn't any lockers to store belongings or changing rooms. However, there is a park resting area 15ft away with bathrooms you can change in.

Are there safety ropes and bungee cords for children to climb the wall ?

Eve Mosher | Sep 19, 2018

It is all "bouldering." It is low walls and a spongy surface below, no ropes. I've been with a lot of kids who had no problem getting g up and down the wall (from ages 5 and up).

Is this a dog friendly spot?

David Oliver | Sep 19, 2018
The Cliffs at DUMBO | Sep 19, 2018

Hey David, Sorry but because of the potential risk of a falling climber we don’t allow dogs at Dumbo. Our Long Island City location is able to control this so your dog would be welcomed as part of the community there. Hope this helps.
