In another time, Back off the beaten path a community still exists where time slows down. The river winds through the area racing the railroad tracks. It's silent and calm. It sounds untrue, but I can tell you.. It's real. We are fortunate to live very close and enjoy visiting every chance we can. Antiques, Candy, Creeking floors, The smell of yester year. Step back in time and while you're here... Have a Burger, or a Bologna Sammich', Maybe a slice of pie. So charming and the food is delicious. So worth a visit if you are coming through. Historic and functional. A Prized spot for us locals and a treat for visitors. Friendly Staff. Why you would think your Granny was going to turn the corner at any moment. Am i biased? Yes I am and unapologetic about it. You don't get to experience this much these days and I am glad it's in our back yard. Highly Recommended. While your there, Take a stroll and read the many plaques and learn the history of Rockford.

We love this place. 1st visit in about 8 years. Still the same cozy atmosphere and family feel. Great food and lots of candy. YOU GOTTA CHECK OUT THE RESTROOMS. You'll see what I mean.
