I loved this place. Dont get me wrong. It was home. I showed up early every sunday and i was active in all ceremonies. However this is NOT a church willing to allow you to convert. If you do not speak and/or are romanian, sadly you wont get very far. For 3 years i tried to convert, yet i was always told i wasnt ready. But for 3 years, there were countless baptisms for the young. I tried to integrate myself into the culture and learn the language, but besides from maybe 1 or 2 people, the vast majority seemed to not want me there. This place was my home. But that was then and this is now. I wasnt accepted. This was made clear that when people tried to translate the sermons for me, we were told to keep quiet and that i should NOT be there. Imagine what this feels like to someone whos tried so hard..... Today i was baptized at another home and i harbor no ill will to my former family. I wish them the best and i wish all of you converts the best - just be careful
