The Catholic churches in New York are an ideal place for recollection and a few minutes of prayer. They are always open to anyone who wants to enter. In this church of San Ignacio de Loyola, in addition to being very beautiful, one feels that spiritual peace that from time to time you need after the hectic day-to-day life of the big city of New York. We spoke to one of the priests at this church and he was a super nice and caring person. Something that not many people will know is that JF Kennedy and his family used to go to this church. A few days before the deadly attack, JFK was in this church, and there is a commemorative plaque on the pew where he sat.

Yes. St. Ignatius has an elevator on the East 84th Street side of the Church, at the middle of the block. Ring the bell and a member of the staff will arrive to give you access.
Livestream Masses can be found on the St. Ignatius Loyola YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/ChurchofStIgnatiusLoyolaNYC) if you are having difficulty viewing them on the St. Ignatius Facebook page (StIgnatiusNYC).
